Based on some of the responses from my previous post I have decided to rework the poll with some of your more popular ideas.

revert back to mine on page three of #1.

Does anyone know how to edit a poll so that I do not need to redo a post for editing in the future?

Oh by the way, FUCK OBAMA!

The sheeple were "caught up". How many Obama koolaid drinkers could cite one rational reason for their support?

Belief in his ideas and faith in his competence + Bush has been a disaster for America. I don't know anyone who voted for him just because he is half black.

I'll agree with the "belief in his ideas" part.

Commie see, commie do.

Maybe all of these, to some degree or another. Hell, people love Obama so much that some people voted for him 70 times. People were returning from the grave to vote for the Messiah.

The answer is still that he bought the election by spending like 10 times as much as McCain.

Too bad our current government doesn't have the stones to investigate the obviously illegal donations he set up his campaign to allow.

Really?  I work with quite a few people who knew nothing about him or politics in general, but they voted for him because he's "black".

There is no one right answer.  It is a combination of all of those things...

So, it was a "perfect storm" of failure for conservative America?

Bush spent all of the political capital the States had and the people wanted to get as far the fuck away from him as they could.

I wouldn't say that, but there was some effect from all of those for sure.  Obviously some more than others...

This is a cop out used only by prejudiced/racist people.

All of the above was not on the poll.

All but the first one.

Bush's fault.  Perceived or real.

If the economy was rosy, unemployment down, housing market strong, job growth, strong stock market, etc, it would have been easy to run on 4 more years.

None of the above is the case however.  You can't run on "hope and change" if the country is firing on all cylinders.

all of the above.

cant vote.

I believe its because Socialism is inevitable for our nation and there is nothing we can do to stop it. Its pretty much right on time it seems.

I hate to say it but President Bush and the Republicans kind of helped it along.

I would say its a combination of the items in the poll.

i voted for the 4th selection, they could have picked someone that could have stood his ground in a debate and fight Obama toe to toe. McCain looked old and like old washington. Palin was the only thing that caused the election not to be a landslide

A combination, based on what people who voted for Obama told me.
