I had that exact make and model RC Heli. The one he shot down probably cost about $3,000.00 to build. He has a lot of upgrades. I don't know why anyone would build that just to shoot it down.
The Heli is a Raptor 50. I sold mine a few months ago for about $1,500.00 and invested the money into some new ARs.

that is retarded. he just wasted at least 1000 bucks. They make small electric RC craft he could have shot down for less than 100.
not to mention I'm somewhat unimpressed with his distance. We shoot clay birds with AKs at about that distance and it's not that hard. if you are going to shoot down an aircraft with a 50, do it at 1000 yards plus or something impressive. |

IIRC that kid posted that video here on ARFCOM right after he made it He got flamed so bad for shooting an expensive toy / "what if the bullet went over the hill and hit a short yellow bus?" / "great you just gave the anti's something to bitch about" that I think he imploded.
