The reliability of magazines from one rifle to another opens a whole can of worms.
Theoretically, any AR-15 style rifle in .223 will accept any "generic" AR-15 style magazine of the correct caliber regardless of who made it. But whether it will prove RELIABLE is an entirely different question. You have to establish that through testing and validation at the range. What a lot of experienced AR-15 people do is mark their magazines in some way (tape, marker, paint, etc) to distinguish them, so they know which magazines have been proven to function reliably with which rifles in their collection.
