Ammo question? What is the deal with CMP’s ammo? Specifically the 30-06 Lake City. $ 70 per 250 round count. Good deal or not?

I've never shot the lake city, but the HXP is great and cheaper than the lake IIRC I'm a little unsure of the Greek ammo. Ever get any unusuable out of the box? nope, I've had '68 and '78 the last 2 purchases and they've been quite clean and load/shoot just fine...the .30 cal ammo can they were in was rusty though (all cartridges were in their original boxes inside the can) |
