The whole politics thing sounds really cool anybody else thinkin of runnin? If you are at all serious about the idea, consider doing some volunteer work for a local politician. They'd love the free help, and you can likely get some school credit for your work. I've never done this but beware: you will likely be doing a lot of 'scut work,' which may amount to washing windows, filling out forms, etc. It may be a few months before you get promoted: answering phones, stuffing envelopes. But hey... everyone starts out at the bottom. And... you'll be on the forefront of your party's renascence. eta Personally, I'm going to volunteer for my party's DDT. Department of Dirty Tricks. |
