Today I saw a bridle one can attach to their shotgun/rifle that has a soft plastic cap and attached to that is a nylon strap that attaches to the wrist of the shotgun/rifle with a loop for a hoist to pull the shotgun/rifle into a tree stand.  I was wondering who made them and where they can be bought.  Thanks.

Can you retype the first sentence? Not sure exactly what you are describing.

I've seen them before, not sure where to buy though

You can buy rope at any local hardware store.

to simplify my first post:

It is a harness that protects the barrel from getting shit in it as you raise and lower the rifle.

Edit: http://gunharness.com/disclaimer.html it is like this however the end that would attach to the forend actually has a cap that fits over the muzzle instead.

Couldn't find one using google. If I'm thinking of what you are it wouldn't be too hard to make one. PVC endcap, some 550 cord, and an carabiner

I am not talking about a hoist I'm looking for an actual bridle.  This is actually for someone else as I don't believe in hunting in tree stands.

I thought the title said contraception so I am still going to say use a condom to cover the barrel.
