Here in the great, yet diminutive, state of Delaware, we have that ass Joe Biden on the ballot for both VP and senate.  If the unthinkable happens, and this braindead moron becomes VP, and wins the senate election, how do they fill his seat in the senate?

I've been trying to find the answer but after perusing pages of election rules, I still haven't found what I'm looking for.

So, hopefully, after years of a ineffectual democrat governor, we may get ourselves a Republican in the governor's mansion (I know, it's a long shot, but I can hope).
