A friend of mine sent me this link, he said he listens to it when he thinks fondly of his ex. I choose to listen to "Yesterday", "Let it Be", "The Long and Winding Road" and "Live and Let Die." That, and sometimes "Against the Wind" by Bob Seger. In other words, yes, I think modern music is pathetic, and I'm only 18.

I have no need to demonize my ex. I had a good time while it lasted, and while I'm not sure why she wanted to end it, I don't need to think badly of her to get over it.

No doubt there is alot of shit music out there.  Its always been that way and always will be, think of how many shitty songs there were during the 80s and 70s.  I just hate when people generalize a certain era of music as being shit.
If you cant find modern music you like, you are either old or just not looking in the right place.
