I'm so depressed. I finally sat down this week and watched all 14 episodes + Serenity... and Fox CANCELLED this thing?! Easily one of the best shows in the last ten years, maybe more. The hell am I supposed to do now? Guess I'll start over... |

It was shiney, that's a truth. Fox screwed up royally with how they promoted and scheduled the show. As I recall, it ran up against a World Series for a decent chunk and was aired out of order. I didn't even know the thing was on TV until I saw a special for Serenity on Sci Fi... |

They didn't even air the gorram episodes in the right gorram order.

It not only aired out of order, but the 2 hour pilot was the last episode aired. Fox dropped the ball again in '06 with 'Standoff' (which I loved). Friday 9:00PM time slot. |

Heroes Battlestar Gallactica Dexter Weeds Sarah Connor Chronicles The Unit 24 The Shield Rescue Me Deadwood Rome Carnival Some of these were cut short before their time as well. But there are a lot of good shows out there. |

What a cowinky-dink! I just watched the final episode on hulu.com today. I don't even own a TV, but I kept hearing about the show. I must say, it was a damn good series. Way too good a show to appeal to the masses. I am not suprised it got shit canned. If Hollywood actually made more shows like this I might consider buying a TV someday. Sadly I know that's just not going to happen. |

Well, unfortunately, there was just no more room on the schedule. Fox had to make room for terrific shows like Dark Angel; Titus; Undeclared; Action; That 80's Show; Wonderfalls; Fastlane; Andy Richter Controls the Universe; Skin; Girls Club; Cracking Up; The Pitts; Get Real; FreakyLinks; Wanda At Large; Costello; The Lone Gunmen; A Minute With Stan Hooper; Normal, Ohio; Pasadena; Harsh Realm; Keen Eddie; The Street; American Embassy; Cedric the Entertainer; The Tick; Louie; and Greg the Bunny. But I suppose if all those shows go down the tubes, it might come back. _MaH

B5 do you mean BABYLON 5 ??? If you do mean Babylon 5, it is much more that "worth watching." BY5 is still in the TOP 5 of all Sci-Fi series ever produced. Period. |
Watch the feature film while the series is still fresh in your memory. "Serenity" (2005).
Not on Hulu but I did see all the episodes. At least they had a chance to wrap it up in S2 before they got canned. Although I guess that's what the silver screen is for.

I'm all caught up on T:SCC, 24, etc etc. Terminator is dragging ass this season though. I'm either going to start watching Bablyon 5 or Buffy tomorrow, I suppose. I always avoided B5 because it looked too Trekky. Same reason I avoided Firefly not really knowing any better. |

Fox is a dumbass for cancelling this show. Imagine how many sub plots and arcs we could have had if they allowed at least two seasons. This show is definitely one of my all time favorite. Weadon had no choice but to blow everything up he had in mind in Serenity. |

I'm continually surprised that this show caught on here. Not that it's not a good show, just never struck me as particularly "arfkom-ish" whatever that is. I only watch shows on DVD, the last season of Sarah Connors was okay. the final episode was pretty good and I think it was the first screenplay for that particular writer. |

You cant loose with either of those choices. I have every season of Buffy and its very good. A few episodes are kind of cheesy but most are great. I did not care much for Angel after the thug and green gay demon showed up. |

I always saw it as the epitomy of Arfcom. It's got guns, a Privateer ship that is on the run from the alphabet agencies of the future, hot women, and beneath a thin layer of moral equivalency the good guys always do whats right. They must exist alongside the dark, Orwellian society of the future, but they don't have to exist within it. |
