The National PT Boat Museum is located at Battleship Cove in my hometown of Fall River,Mass.

A trip home is never complete without a visit to Battleship Cove.

My Granddad was EO PT 335, and CO PT 342, Ron 24 in the Pacific.

This brought  tears to my eyes. My father served with MTB RON 12 in the Pacific.

God rest his soul.

Thank you for posting that.

We can.

You need to get that stuff on Digital Audio.

We recorded my WW1 Grandfather's Greek Merchant Marine conversations before he died. This shit needs to live on, people, so our kids kids can hear about the privations, the fear, the inconvenience, and the adventure our forebearers had while engaged in the most dramatic times of their lives.

History. It's what's for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if we don't learn anything from it.
