Make some kind of beer/wine then distill it duh.

I wouldn't do it without a license though. the BATF likes to ass rape moonshiners just as much as weapon "violators"

It's good stuff, in moderation of course.  I have never made any, but have a friend who has a friend who's third cousin's ex husband knows a guy 3 counties over who .........................
Let's just say I have drank it a few times and lived to tell about it.

I found it more suitable for removing paint than internal consumption.  YMMV.

not really..You can get charged with production of illegal alcohol and still get into the .mil...Its only a misdemeanor..

And you dont distill beer or wine, you "cook" the corn, thats where it gets the name 'corn liquor'....

Easier to make Irish Whiskey.  If you can get hard barley that is fresh, take about 12 pounds and dampen it  with about a gallon of water.  Then spread it out in a thin layer in a dark, warm place until it sprouts.  Grind it, then add another gallon of boiling water to make a porridge that is no hotter than 160 F and at least 155 F.  Let is soak for an hour, then drain and wash the spent grains until you have 6 gallons of relatively husk free extract.  Bring to boil for a hour, then let cool to under 90 F.

Now add 4 ounces of brewer's yeast and pour into a 5 gallon fermenter.  Let ferment with an air lock on the fermenter until it stops bubbling. and the yeast settles.

Decant and distill.  There are a few good still plans online.  Age with charred white oak
