[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Eye Dominance Question

I have mostly shot my Eotechs either both eyes open or right eye dominant.

I recently got an AK and I want to stick to irons, but I don't seem to have the ability to independently close my right eye.

So what can I do to be able to close my right eye and keep the left open so that I can shoot the rifle from my left side.

Use an eye patch until you get used to it. You're left eye dominant correct? When was the last time you checked?

I'm right eye dominant, I just want to be able to shoot irons weak side(left side). Jeff

Can you close your right eye at all? Sometimes just enough of a squint will let you be able to focus on the sights with your non dominant eye.

Can't close it all. Eye patch may be the solution. Jeff
