More ammo anyone? > General Discussion

I don't know about the rest of you but I just bought another sealed tin of 5.45 and 3 more mags. Is anyone else stocking up for 11-5-08, in case of extreme civil disturbance? I live fairly close to HUD homes and 15 minutes from Gary IN.

How many people are you planning on shooting during this "civil disturbance"? A couple thousand?

The reason to stockpile ammo is to stay in practice and continue enjoying your hobby when there is an ammo shortage. If you need a case of ammo in a civil disturbance, then you are planning on missing a lot, or you are planning on encountering very large mobs of people who don't run or take cover when you start shooting, and who don't shoot back.

But, there is psychological comfort in gazing upon an ammo fort, so if it makes you feel better, it's cheap therapy.

I've been stocking up since I saw Red Dawn.
I was mistaken about how it would happen but I still prepared.
