In the middle of our recent economic down turn we have had a surge of activity thanks to barrack (i work part time at a gun store). We have had a surge in the last month or so of people "stocking up" on both guns and ammo thanks to obama's popularity. Well, at least something positive is coming out of his popularity   .Any one else seen a similar surge? Edit: I am a Republican and I approve this message |
| Stocking up on ammo. Hopefully I can lay in another 1000 rounds of 7.62 and 9mm this week. Then I might feel better. And at some point I need to bump up the 12 guage. I'm WAAAAAY understocked on that. But I figure 12 guage will be available for a bit if Obama tries to ban stuff. He'll go after the "Hunting" guns last. |

ive got to start stepping up the ammo buying the next few weeks. i added the last must have gun last week . a shotgun. rem 870 i only got 65 rounds of 00 for it . i really have to step it way up on the 5.56 and .308 though , i was caught way underprepared for the possibility of obama |
Good point. Someone laid some scary stuff on me the other day however. He need not "ban" ammo. Though I do not know the source I over heard a discussion on an "ammo tax". The proposal was a 500% ammo tax which would make the average box of 9mm about $980.00. I know it sounds reactionary but stranger things have happened; ask the tobacco industry

I am about to dump 6K into Black Rifle goodies tomorrow... I am going on a feeding frenzy like none has ever seen... With 6K I should be able to buy at least 2 EBR's and a mag with no problem  Actually it will mostly be all be ammo and mags....AMMO and Mags baby..And the frenzy kicked off with 10 new Glock 23 mags about an hour ago..for 159.99 shipped! WISH ME LUCK!!!
