Police Shoot and Kill Pit Bull

Deputy Kills Pit Bull
Wednesday, October 01, 2008 6:49:51 AM

ORANGE COUNTY -- An Orange County deputy shot and killed a dog while responding to a domestic dispute.

It happened just before 3 a.m. Wednesday at a home in East Orange County on Dean Road right near Buck Road.

Deputies were called to the home after a woman said her husband had a gun and was going to shoot her.

Deputies said the armed man brought his pit bull out on the front porch. At some point, the man released the dog and the pit bull charged at deputies.

The dog was shot by one of the deputies and did not survive.

Yeah, I was talking to my CLEO a couple of weeks ago and he did the same thing.  Gave a couple of warnings and let the dog have it.  I'm kinda neutral on that scenario...depends on the exact details.  One man's pet is another man's nightmare.

lol.

I know a guy thats a federal agent, kind of a dick, and i always joke with him about shooting dogs.

I was talking to him to other day on the driveway and there was a dog constantly barking and he commented on it.

Couldn't resist and told him he should call in for a warrant and then he could silence the dog.

He was not amused.
