I upgraded to version 3. Now my bookmarks are in the pulldown on the web address bar. How fucking stupid. It doesn't have the sites I recently visited like all other browsers. This is annoying and stupid. How do I fix this? Scott |

i don't have a fix for you, but i would like to also share my disgust with ff 3 link similar to what you are asking? |
I know in the last thread on this I said there was no fix. The following, may help somewhat: 1) In the address bar, type 'about:config' (no ' marks) and press enter. There may be a warning message pop up just tell it yes. 2) In the search that opens up search for "url.bar.maxRich" and you should see the following: 'browser.urlbar.maxRichResults' 3) Double click on that line and change the number it to the number of items you want to see in the autocomplete menu. Try 5 or 10. 4) Restart browser. Not perfect, but sure helps. BTW, there are a LOT of neat tricks you can do with that "about:config" page. Let me know if you want more tweaks :) |
