Ok so here is the complete deal! Broiled Chesapeake Bay crab cakes, (crabs pulled from the pots on my dock this afternoon), rib eye medium rare, scolloped potatoes and broccoli. Stags Leap Merlot ’04 to wash it all down, and H. Upmann Perciosa #1 (for after the meal). Walther P99 in .40 , Kershaw Ken Onion Chive for good measure.  Picks or getting the crabs:     |
| Dang, that reminds me of a weekend at a house on the Hood Canal in WA state. Goeduck clams, crabs and buckets of fresh oysters. Funny thing was the kid that lives in that house would catch crabs by taking a bucket in a float out to the canal and would wiggle his toes by the kelp and would grab the crabs as they came to nibble on his tootsies. Last I heard he still has all ten attached! |
Our weekend house is in Deltaville VA, we are right at the mouth of the Rappahannock. I can pull out from my dock and be in the bay in 5min. Good fishing and Crabbing

Oh nice! I grew up in the Gloucester/Mathews area if that sounds familiar to you. Always good crab in that area. Edit: Used to hang out in Gwynn's Island too, which is right across the water. |

Used to spend every weekend in Deltaville for 2 years (2005-2007), ex-girlfriends parents have a boat out of Norview. Summers farting around the bay, and winters Rockfishing! Man I miss those times! |
