60mph winds came through here yesterday. Knocked down a hangar we were building, wiped out 5 days hard work. Damaged one airplane when some metal sheets flew into the tail - we can fix that. But it didn't even move the twin engine plane you see here, which was not tied down. Or the set of wings which was facing into the wind and had nothing holding it down. We had some cables/straps holding the beams of the hangar in place - it ripped the turnbuckles open. Crushed the aluminum ladder - but not the wooden one.     |
