Windows Media Player sounds so terribly unnatural, but I absolutely love the library and playlist management.

Winamp sounds great and has a lot of audio customization, but the playlist editor SUCKS. Even in the pro version, you can't sort a playlist by anything other than the chronological order you added the song to it.

So what I want is management like WMP with the audible qualities of Winamp. What do you suggest?

Media Player Classic Home Cinema

mpc-hc.sourceforge.net/

Plays 99.9% of anything out there and it has Hardware Acceleration if you nVidia series 8(9)xxx for H.264 only and ATI Radeon HD series for H.264 and VC-1 decoding.

Sorry,  if your looking for music player this is not the one for you. I Should have read your post better.  If your looking for a Video player that will play anything then WMPHC is the one to go with.

I use personally use iTunes for my MP3s.

Tversity is another option.

Personally I'm sticking with WMP11.  The EQ not work out for you?

The EQ blows. Everything it plays back sounds so unnatural. If you listen to two songs back to back, one played in WMP and one played in Winamp, you'd know what I mean.
