great, wife wont let on the carpet...but just as advertised.  i got them for swimming, dry off wring it out, it is relatively dry. The old shamies for swimming go hard once they dried you had to get them wet then wring them out to use them to dry off (still better than a wet towel).  the only down side is you cant get a surface bone dry, but you can get your body dry.
