I'm watching swimming... Craziness. Seems like there is always, always, always new world records being set.

Some of it is because the pool is a bit deeper then your average Olympic style pool, also the lane dividers don't allow as much wake from each swimmer to go into the near by lanes, also the new suits they wear.

I'm sure it has nothing at all to do with the vast improvements in chemistry and pharmacology in the last few decades.
To be fair, the new speedo suit is supposed to add something like 2%, so that alone could account for some of the new records.
