Anyone else been?  Me and a friend were in Dallas for Ozzfest this past weekend and went here based on a recommendation in the Texas HTF.  Here's my mini-review from that thread.

Quoted:
Definitely too late.  We ended up going to Fogo de Chao.  I was kinda worried because we didn't have a reservation, but we got there (around 9PM) and were seated almost immediately.  The head-waiter (I guess that's what you call him) showed up very quick and explained how the restaurant worked.  Didn't mess with the salad bar too much, just had some mozzarella and pancetta.  Then the meat started.  Never in my life have I had so much meat that was this perfectly seasoned and this perfectly cooked.  A few times I forgot to turn my meat-card to red and was constantly bombarded with the gauchos and their skewers.  Also, if the side dishes (polenta, mashed potatoes, fried bananas and biscuits) sat on the table for more than 10 minutes or so, someone would come over and replace them with fresh dishes.  I cannot imagine going somewhere and getting better service or better food.  We topped the meal off with a glass of Blue Label because we were WAY too stuffed to even think about eating anything for dessert.  Definitely money well-spent and the trip would have almost been worth it just for the restaurant by itself.

Went to the one in Atlanta.  Frickin' awesome, and frickin' expensive.  Definitely a special occasion place.  But worth it on occasion.  The meat is awesome, and the salad bar is phenominal.  The words "salad bar" don't begin to do it justice.

Yes, there is one in Philly.

FWIW you should go during lunch ... $10-20/cheaper per head and the exact same non-stop all you can eat service.

Incredible food. Even better service, believe it or not.

They have the single greatest salad bar you have ever seen. While some may scoff, the salad bar itself could certainly steer some away from the meat. Fresh Artichoke, Artichoke hearts, Salmon of all stripes, Sun-dried tomatoes, God knows how many types of Olives and cheeses and breads. Great place.

Yes, last time I went it was only $35/head for lunch in Philly.  Prices vary by location so check beforehand.  I don't see the point in charging more for dinner, because you get the exact same thing.  Of course, there's nothing that stops them from charging more for dinner, it's their business.

Every time I'm in Philly, it's where I eat lunch. It's one of those places that you wonder where it's been all your life. I will actually be taking my GF for her first visit tomorrow.

In New Orleans, in the French Quarter, there is Fire of Brazil.  Ate there last weekend.  I can't wait to go back.  I missed about 4 of the 13 different meats!

There's a similar one at 19th and JFK that just opened up a few months ago.  It's called Chima.  I'll have to give it a try to see how they stack up.

I was in the DC restaurant last Sunday.

WOW!

I'm thinking of starting a wheel barrow service to help people out of the restaurant.  ~ $ 20 each from table to sidewalk (from there, they can hail a cab).

I've been to the one in Chi-town. Pretty good, but the ones in Mexico are WAAAAAAAAYYYY better.

In any case, took my Aussie folks to one in Niagara Flls last year so they could try it out, and get this:

I was driving so I ordered a Coke. After drinking my Coke I ask the head waiter for a refill. He promptly tells me, sorry we don't do refills.

I am DUMBFOUNDED....so I say "You're telling me I can eat as much steak, salad etc. as I want but I can't get another Coke for free?"

He nodded his head and left.

ARE YOU F@$KING KIDDING ME?

Needless to say I left that douche a really shitty tip, considering we paid about $35CAD per head for the meal.

Moral of the story, don't go to the Brazillian Steak hous ein Niagara Falls, ON!

I think I almost had a heart attack last time I went from eating too much meat.  Defenitely skip the salad bar.
