I got this in an email:
What the hell does that mean? I understand that the gun is a Glock 17 and made in or abouts 1999. What does the "pre-ILS feature" part mean? I've owned Glocks for years but don't know what the acronym "ILS" means. Explain me a learning(s), sil vous plait. Danke. |
Internal locking system |
the glock internal locks are an option; not too many i would think in the US opt for em all the glocks listed in those years would, if i remember correctly, fall as "3rd Generation" glocks that have the rail, 2 pin block system, finger grooves, and probably the improved extractor w/ loaded indicator (except for the 1999, which might still sport the old extractor or be a 2nd gen, but i get my yrs confused)--your regular glock you see today |
Stupid little lock that uses a stupid little key to keep the slide from moving to the rear and locks the trigger. My HK USP had it and I never used it. It's kind of stupid. |
i thought it was an abbreviation for the sort of explosive used. EDIT: Yeah i'd spend $300 on a glock. |
