Is there a scuba forum or a certain place where it would be discussed?  Also, anyone dove on the Oriskany yet?  That was probably one of the coolest things ive ever done.

Since I don't own a boat, I mostly dive springs.  North Florida has some great spots to dive.  I would like to find someone crazy enough to learn to cave/cavern dive with me. I'm only Advanced Open Water.

Ive been to vortex springs many times on certification trips (im an SSI divecon).  This weekend was the best ive ever seen it.  Hardly anyone was there so the vis was actually great.  The cave is pretty cool but im never planning on going past the grate at 110ft

There is not much to see past the grate anyway, the sand normally creates a restriction.

+1  have been a member there longer than here.  Lots of valuable info, from gear, trips, and photography to accidents and incidents.

We probably ran into each other at some point then.  Myself and Zack3g were out at Vortex getting our cert from Stephanie (the only instructor wearing a dry suit while out there!).
