So I lost my original remote control to my TV about 6 months ago and have this universal remote control made by Philips. It reset some how and now I need to reprogram it w/ my TV again but can't find the damn code book. Anyone know how to find out the code for my tv?

This is the first one that came up on Google for Philips universal remote codes.

That sucks.

The ones I have have websites on the back of the controller, I know I had to look em up once upon a time.

Hard to beat the Sony RM-VL710... not fancy but cheap and very programmable best value out there.

Post up the model of the remote,  we'll find it.

It doesn't even say the model, its just a $15 remote I picked up at the campus bookstore the day I lost mine. Would a pic be of any help?

All the remote says on the bottom is Philips Universal

On the back, maybe in the battery compartment, or on the back of the battery cover, there has to be a model number.

The site I linked to above has a whole long list of phillips universals.

I tried all those codes and none worked :(. There is a sticker inside the battery compartment that say CL034 but that is it. There's no other writing on this damn thing.

Well if the phillips universal remote site didnt help, I'd say you might have to get another remote.

I like the ones that can clone existing remotes. You retain complete functionality, and store your original remote in a safe place.
