I think it is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.. I used to work at an "urban" clothes store...Was called JW--a sister store of Rave...And I had a guy come in with his jeans hanging down--wife beater t-shirt the whole nine...I told him you can't work here...No sir buddy..Clothing means a lot--and you wouldn't represent this store properly...I told him I am sure there are a lot of stores that would love to have you--just not the one I am a manager of... As a manager I have that right... I guess I just don't understand the problem...Maybe her headscarf doesn't fit in with the image they are trying to portray...My guess is they want someone who is going to wear some of the clothing etc they sell... |
It was only "alleged".Of course , I wouldn't doubt that some idiot possibly did say it.But then again, that is how CAIR and the poor victim would also like it.They happen to know that the allegation is just as damaging as actually being charged and the intended target will likely cave.This incrementalism is at work everywhere and will have dire consequences. I am with you on this one...I bet the manager wasn't as blunt as lets say, someone like I would be...I bet you he said no we are not going to hire you at this time--and the woman added on the head scarf thing so that CAIR would jump on the bandwagon... CAIR is the Muslim version of the NAACP...Always looking for some shit to stir... |
