| I've never been a habitual smoker, but I've smoked a few cigarettes over the years. All in all, they all seem to taste and smell the same. Is there an actual, detectable difference between the various brands, or is the preference based on other factors? |
Oh totally...I mean Menthols taste totally different from Regulars..100's are lighter and last For-e-ver.. So yeah even menthols taste different from brand to brand...Ackkk the worst are Kool's and Camel menthol....Icky... |
| Have you ever tried a menthol, and then lets say a, Marlboro Red? Bit of a difference. I don't smoke that much myself, but I can tell a difference. I usually only smoke when I'm drunk, and thats when I'm looking for the friend who has Marlboro Lights so I can bum one. |
I will never smoke Kools again. I bought a pack because they were on sale - big mistake. I actually had difficulty breathing after smoking a few, and that never happens to me. |

Oh no there is a difference...Used to smoke Marlboro and if I don't feel like walking up the steps, I smoke one of my mom's..She smokes Kent 100's (I know--what are they?) and they taste different..Plus you smoke 100's for like an hour and that shit still burns...I am like when does the cigarette end? |
Well I can also tell the difference between a Marlboro Light and a Camel Light. Marlboro Lights seem smoother to me. Me and my roommate both passively smoke when we drink, but he buys Camel Lights, and I refuse to smoke them because I think they taste horrible. Usually if I cant find a Marlboro Light to bum off someone, then I just aint smoking. |

Non. I've smoked menthols, but they're kind of a novelty. Not something I want every time. |
If lights, try Parliament Lights. No other lights compare. |
Oh I know  Ill have one once in awhile............but havent smoked em steady since Marlboro released their monthols in the 80s (Buy one get one)

In a non menthol...Lets see--full flavored Marlboro's are good..So are Camels.. But any lights are kinda--icky and for high school and college girls *lol* |
Hah well, I smoke Winston regulars. Not a fan of lights. Only had Camel Lights, MB Lights, and Parliament Lights. Parliament lights were far superior. I prefer natural cigs (no additives). Not because it's healthier, but because I feel like less shit after smoking a few/a bunch. Place Winstons don't taste all that bad. |
I have smoked Newports for ever (and I don't want to hear one racial joke I will come and beat you guys all up *lol*--its the medicine I am telling you)..I started out with Portie Lights and now I am at full flavor...I just like the coolness of them..Like they taste very cool going down... |
I smoke reds alot..........especially when Im drinking. Camels.....once in awhile for a change , but I cant say as I remember buying a whole pack in years...except a pack of NF when I tried to quit a couple months ago. |

Start swingin All the blacks I knew when living in Florida , and most of the whites, that smoked menthols....smoked Newports. Up North its Marlboro menthols  Id say it was a regional thang more than a racial thing.

I don't see how folks smoke Marlboros by choice. Can't stand 'em. For a truly fine cigarette, look into Natural American Spirits. I prefer their Perique blend. After smoking a carton of NAS', you'll find out how bad most other cigarettes actually taste. Unfortunately I've refused to pay the prices for them (~$50/carton) since the last Texas price hike.  Went to Winstons since then.
