Before writing a paper, have you ever chosen a word/words that had to be worked in to the paper, just to see if you could? I do this all the time, and I'm not sure why
|
No, not offhand. From time to time, with specific law papers, it was effectively a requirement. However, it is refreshing to know that no matter how .... odd let's say.....work is, there are people who blow it out of the water. Queue the "Avenue Q" soundtrack. |

Often contracted after an esophagogastroduodenoscopy. |
Which was performed for the purpose of placing of a percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tube. |
No, it's a fictitious word. |

For certain papers I try and give them a theme. One time I did it so good that the teacher tried to convince me to switch to english from nursing and wanted my paper for future reference to show students. Then papers submitted to her after that sucked kinda. I don't know what that teacher thinks of me. |

I haven't. A friend, though, once received a mediocre grade on a paper with the professor telling him that, with his argument, he had put the golfball on the tee, but hadn't actually swung the club, or words to that effect. Next paper my friend wrote for that professor was some 5-6 pages long, with an average of about 4-5 golf references per page. |
