I was riding to the airport in Lawton OK from Altus OK when I looked down into some scrub along the road. Approximately 200 yards off the road, I spotted a creature that looked like a cross between a deer and a dog. I didn't get a great look at it but it was well away from any farms or houses in kind of a low area. If I had to guess, I'd say it weighed 50-60 lbs and stood close to 4' high. WTF? Oh, and there is a HUGE dead porcupine under an overpass on that highway. I didn't know porcupines could get that big! |

The family and I saw such a creature about 3 weeks ago. It was around noon time and the creature was in the middle of the road, just a few feet away. The critter we saw wasn't as big as the one you descibed, but we figure it was either a mangy coyote or dog. |
