I installed the new version of iTunes tonight when prompted as my iPod wouldn't update without it.  Now this .exe is self replicating.  I currently have 243 running.  WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT, OVER?

Start > Run > Services > Apple Mobile Device.

If there is more than one right click, properties, stop. Change from auto
to manule. Repeat as needed.

Hope that helps.

Yeah, 7.7

I'm just now getting home so I am going to try safe mode and assorted other things.  I'm kind of pissed that this happened to be honest.

Ive read about people having this problem, I have the previous version and now I will not upgrade it.  There doesnt seem to be a solution that apple is putting on its support forum/site, it just gets deleted or it says to do what I told you way up top.  Ill see what else I can find searching around bout this prob but my version only has 1 of those exe running.
