Turbo controllers rule. Full Auto G3/Pistol FTW!  I recommend you try one.

| For the PC (the only way to play a proper online multiplayer IMO) you can use your mouse wheel binded to the attack/fire function, so you rotate the wheel and it fires like a full auto. I have never gotten it to work on my Logitech G9 mouse, but I can't imagine it being accurate at all, plus I use my mouse wheel for my knife anywhoo. Also the server I play in kicks if it senses a mouse wheel bind. |

Meh... I really don't consider it cheating, its not like it improves aim or mobility, it just improves the rate of fire on a few weapons. I bought it mainly for the pistols, its priceless to listen to other people cry when you kill them with a full auto pistol  I have it for PS3 BTW. |
Fuck you man. Consoles have pretty much ruined the gaming experience. There used to be a semi-professional essence in gaming a few years ago on any system, PC, and consoles alike. Now I'm lucky if I can get through a game without some 12 year old screaming into a mic and team killing to get the "uber gun". |

I play CoD4 on my comp with a 360 controller which I like better than any console. I'd say a 22" HD monitor a foot away fills up your feild of view as well as a 52" across the room.  |

I used to be all into the "PCs rule, consoles drool!" thing until I played Gears of War and COD4 on the Xbox. I much prefer playing from the comfort of my couch on the big screen with DTS surrond sound than on my computer. I also find with the game pad on the xbox I can do all of the actions (switch weapons, run, strafe, throw grenades) without shifting my hands to different positions, or hitting another key. I haven't played a FPS on my computer in forever. |
That happened all the time on BF2, which I played exclusively on the PC. BF2 servers had some of the whinest little bitches mankind has ever known. |

No. No there didn't. I've been a computer gamer since Starsiege: Tribes was top-notch, and since a multiplayer-only game like UT was mind-blowing and revolutionary, and there have always been morons jumping up and down and screaming about noobcannon this and baserape that and "you jewhackers" and all that other stupid shit. The only difference is that now you can hear them. Christ, even the people on the vent server on my WoW guild are a bunch of complete slapdicks, despite having to pay money every month to play the game and being better than me at it in every way. Play on a good server that boots assholes and quit making shit up. ~BakerMike |
I haven't upgraded my computer in like two years (6800GS ftw! ) and the last time I did I spent all of 700 dollars for it because every single one of the peripherals I had for my old computer work with the new one (I've had this mouse since I was in high school), not to mention the fact that whenever my brother upgrades, I get his hand-me-down hardware for free (though the same could be said for generations of consoles).On the other hand, I do really want a 360. Of course, it's no skin off my back if you prefer consoles. Fighting like a bunch of 12-year-old fanboys = lame. ~BakerMike |

you've really really missed out. even if you only played consoles. Well I may have to buy a PS3 soon. I really want to play Brutal Legend  Honestly I am kinda disappointed Jack Black will be in it. His one-role character is getting old in the same way that Will Farrell has. But it is a Tim Schafer game, so I still have high expectations! |
I've been playing GoW and CoD4 on my PC.....on a 46" LCD TV with 2 tower speakers. I'd get the surround system but my living room audio is all screwed up. I do this from the couch with a wireless kbd and mouse. Works great. |

+1/2 Thats exactly what i do. If i gotta use the pistol or go into last stand i bring up the sights turn the controller toward myself and hit fire as fast as i can with the point of my finger. Im really good at it but i watehc my lil bro play one day. he went to last stand and hit fire so fast it looked like his pistol was pointed up with the slide locked back until he had to reload. |
I miss them so. There were the "mad 'sploits". The more serious servers kicked people that did them. Great times. |
