Last year, I dragged out my electric air raid siren.

The guy across the street turned it on and blew a fuse in his house.

This year I brought it out and took it down yesterday to Radio Shack for a geek to look at the same and get whatever components were necessary to make it ok.  Understand, there is no tech, low tech and high tech.  And, I am a no tech guy.

Despite my warning, the geek insisted on turning it on inside Radio Shack.    He promptly blew the computers.

So then, I went and talked to a competent old timer at Home Depot.  He knew what to do and commented that he once had a manual air raid siren.

So, here is the warning.  If you awakend by air raid siren on the 4th of July, it isn't a real air raid.

The 4 year old across the street described it as a red cannon.  Someone had repainted it.

Whenever I ask for the guy across the street, I ask his wife for her oldest son.

We hooked one of those up for my friends piece of shit psycho neighbor at 3:00AM.  Fun toys.

It also seemed to interupt his backyard driving range time.
