According to certain Danish people, you can't tell the difference between modern HFCS-sweetened drinks and old style cane sugar drinks; it's all in your head.

Of course, as a Dr Pepper connoisseur, I disagree.

Kroger is pretty good.

Wally World tends to buy their produce from one seller, then ship it EVERYWHERE.  So, it is old and moldy.

Comes in a bottle, and label indicates it was bottled in Mexico. Ingredients list also shows "CANE SUGAR" instead of "HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP."

HEB is headquartered in San Antonio, and their produce section rocks.  Clean, fresh...can't ask for better, and the selection is great.

Its got a retro stylized green glass bottle.  Ingredients sticker lists cane sugar vs HFCS.  The taste!  I didnt realize how good soda used to taste when I was a kid.  Dam the corn lobby! HFCS piss water, is what they force us to drink today.

I had the same reaction when my local Wal-Mart started carrying Jones Soda brand Cola.  

It was an immediate flashback to the early 1980s, when sugar drinks still had sugar.  Far superior taste.
