Get Firefox!

If you're still using IE (why?) try it.

If you're using Firefox, this is a pretty good update.

[#1]
What makes it better than 2.0? Other than the +1

In my experience, most upgrades are simply more junk to x out.

[#2]
Can I use it to listen to XM Radio online? That's the only thing that made me go back to IE. Never felt like screwing around tracking down the plug-ins to make it work when IE did the job right off the bat.

also, you can be part of the world record:

Hm.
Been using it for about half an hour..
Not really sure what I think of it, To be honest.
It feels.. Different. And things aren't where I left them
I hate it when things change. Just as I get used to them.

Edit; 2 crashes so far isn't really reassuring..

It's a little different.  Might be a little faster.

I'm not finding any themes I like though.

check the nasa theme.  It looks cool

Firefox sucks!

My Bank and Ford Racing says NO to Firefox especially 3.

Damn Firefox fanboys go plug some memory leaks and learn the benefits of running a clean and efficent OS.

your bank and ford racing suck if they can't write w3c compliant XHTML.

Already got it. Big improvement in speed + it uses less memory. I also like what they've done with the address bar.
6/17/2008 1:58:00 PM EDT

I'm using it, but haven't been able to connect to their add-on server.  It's a lot faster than 2, and I read most of the memory issues were fixed.

works really well on my computer, very fast.

I just wish you could browse webpages with it.

When I click on a bookmark and it goes to that website the bookmark remains highlighted blue. It's hard to ignore that large blue mark to the left of the website I'm looking at.

Is there any way to get rid of the blue highlight when I click on a bookmark?

Are you using the bookmarks sidebar?  Theres your problem.  You're wasting screen space that you can save by using the drop-down menu or the bookmarks toolbar.

Done.
Thanks for the heads up

I never use IE anymore

Works like the beta, which is to say "it's fine".

I've been enjoying the beta for a long time now.

Beta 3.0 is very fast. Waiting for a connection to their servers to download the full release.

ETA: finally able to connect and download......

Any confirmation on the memory issues? It's a freakin' hog now. And for some reason the back button doesn't work right on foxnews.com at work but home is fine.

I love firefox - but as a webdesigner I will hold off upgrading a few months. I'd rather they work the kinks out before I switch over and get bogged down.

I don't like the way Firefox does tabs.  It's not as easy as IE to open a new tab.

I would rather "waste the space" than have to take the extra time to click on 2 different things to get to a website.

Tab mix plus is pretty much the only add on I really care about. Sadly it doesn't work with FF 3.0

How in the heck to do you get rid of 3.0 and get whatever you had before back?
