Everyone has their food they can't stand for Thanksgiving, what is yours? And why?

When I take a bite of dressing, and there's RASINS in it.  Ick.

Ditto, raisins and dried cherries in stuffing. Why ruin one of the best things to eat on Thanksgiving.

Cheap, canned cranberry sauce! It should be against the law.

I voted for wet dressing, but I think hagis(sp?)would be the worst thing to serve for thanksgiving.

Agreed, stuffing which is usually the BEST part can easily become the worst part. Hey guys, leftovers tommarow.

Ditto the raisin issue.  Sweet stuffing BAD...very BAD...

Also veggies with lots of cheesy something on then.  Prefer veggies with little or nothing on.

Dry turkey is like eating balsa wood.  I don't care much for bitter squash, either.

Dry turkey is like eating a dry, chapped puss... well, you know.
I can't wait to make a turkey sandwich tomorrow and eat it at the range.

I went to Mom's house for dinner and the iced tea didn't taste just right.

Seems she has made a switch to green tea [puke]

Nothing like good ole fashion sweet ice tea.

The best description of dry turkey that I've ever seen.

My jaw still hurts from chewing the styrofoam-like abomination that my girlfriend's mother cooked.

My aunt cannot cook to save her life... which never ceases to amaze me because her immediate family is running a median 90 pounds overweight. She is notorious for 'inventing' recipes. Most fail miserably.

This year, her prized recipe dish was a concoction she called chip dip. This said chip dip consisted of

1. Cream Cheese
2. Ketchup
3. Crushed Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Crackers

I steered clear.

Why do people always serve cranberry sauce.......in the shape of a can!!? Why don't they just mash it up in a bowl or something?

I'll take the dry turkey over sweet potatoes.  I can always pile gravy over dry turkey.

I didn't see cranberry sauce.  I think that is the worst of the tradition...eeeew.

Mince meat pie. Tastes like a mixture of Listerene, peppermint, and dried horse manure.

Sweet taters are just plain wrong no matter how you look at it.  However i didn't even get the privelige of eating that balsa wood turkey this year. My thanksgiving consisted of 2 slightly overcoooked ham and cheese lean pockets. No they weren't even the fatty hotpockets that are half way decent i had to eat low fat crap for Thanksgiving.
