Gatorade for me. Fruit punch. What a thirst quencher.

Besides [beer] and soft drinks, what do you all drink?

Root Beer! After I got out of the Army, I dunno what happened, but I just lost the taste for alcohol. Ever since, I keep either a can of Root Beer, or Dr Pepper in my hand. Also, milk, and since I'm from SC, the required amount of iced tea is in the fridge.

Here's my schedule.

Awake late moring/early afternoon drink copious amounts of Gatorade.

Go to work.

Come home and drink mass quantities of Miller Lite or Crown Royal. (depending on mood)

Repeat

Which ever one you like the taste of, since they are nothing more than expensive cool aid.  They really don't do any good, since in order to make them palatable they are so diluted to not help.

Not even a contest.  Gatorade.  Dr. J. Robert Cade, the developer of Gatorade, is one of the more famous alumni of my fraternity, Delta Upsilon.

Gatorade.  Every other sport drink is way too sweet, and only Gatorade seems to takes better the thirstier you are.  I don't know what it is, but since I've been drinking it since I was a kid in peewee football it may just be psychsomatic.

God Bless Texas

Iced tea always worked for me. Not the sweetened stuff in bottles or cans, just plain.

From the deltau.org history of Delta Upsilon: "The secret societies ridiculed the new group, but they knew full well that the Social Fraternity would thrive."

We're the oldest non-secret fraternity, the first to go international, and the largest fraternity in this province.  Pledged 35 members this year alone - that's huge by Canadian standards; most chapters up here are  smaller.  We've also got the newest house, the closest location to the big university, the best sound system, etc.

When I want a sports drink, my body prefers Gatorade.  How do I know?  When I'm "bonking", it doesn't make me want to puke.

If you do enough sustained exercise, sports drinks can be very useful.  I consider them to be an exercise tool, not a soft drink.

Also, if you have been sick and suffer from diarrhea, Gatorade will make you feel better.
