I just got a job as a security guard and had to go in for the first part of the mandatory 20 hour training. 10 hours in a cold stuffy room listening to some of the most pointless, asinine, kool-aid drinking, ANTI-GUN crap. In a segment about violence in the work place, the training material said that as a guard, I should be concerned when a person talks about guns because they could potentially want to go on a rampage with AUTOMATIC handguns and rifles. I'm reading this crap with this  face. I get to go do more of it on Thursday. The company is securitas and it's an unarmed position. Low pay, kind of crappy hours, but I've been looking for a job since December so I'll suck it up and take it. |
