Anybody else love this guy as an actor?  I think he's a great actor.  I watch every movie he's in whenever I go thru the channels.

Another favorite of mine is BAT 21.

Actually, any movie he's in I'll stop and watch when channel surfing.  There's something compelling about him that's just incredible.

I thought he was great in "The Quick and the Dead".

It's kind of a shame. I thought that movie could have been really good. But I have a hard time getting past some of the goofiness, such as when Sharon Stone does shoot Gene Hackman, he doesn't realize it at first until he sees the sunlight shining through his torso.  Then the next shot to the head flips him clean over backwards.

Either The Conversation or Unforgiven was his best.

Great actor! Hasn't been phoning it in the last 15 years like many of the great actors of his age (for me, DeNiro's been fairly unwatchable since 1999 or so)...

(Got to disagree about BAT*21 though ... if you've ever read the book you'll know what I mean... the movie was a travesty by comparison)
