We don't call them that here but the liquor stores, aka package stores have been closed since saturday night! No sales of beer, wine or liquor. But the bars are open!!!!

Yup ABC stores are state owned, closed on Sunday's and closed today!

I went and picked up a bunch of beer instead.

You guys never heard of a bootlegger in Virginia.

Moonshiner lived down the street, he died about 6 months ago.

It's a NC thing too. It took some getting used to when I moved from Fl about 20 yrs ago.
I got a 1.75 liter bottle of bourbon on the way home Sat. so I'm good
