I'm stoked! I've got my annual chills for this race going on and I'm on edge. Anyone else get affected by this race? I've been to 3 of them and there's nothing like it. My heart rate is up probably 15 beats. HH |
Thats just to keep the general pubic interested. Theres some good stories floating around about her ![]() We have a kart shop on gasoline alley. Lots of the same people are in karting that are in the other open wheel series. |

Last time I was at the Indy 500 was in 1964 with my Grandfather. We were sitting in the stands just past the 4th corner and about 100' from where Eddie Sachs and Dave MacDonald were killed in this crash. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVMMNJm8jBA First time I saw a man die...... sometimes I can still smell the smoke. |
The sad thing is that open wheel racing in America used to be interesting on its own merits before it became a Maxim Magazine sideshow. I can still remember the 90s and fields made up of drivers like Montoya, Greg Moore, Jacques Villeneuve, Zanardi, ect. Oh, well, at least Robert Kubica finished 2nd in the premier motorsports held this weekend. |
i don't know if you knew, but the Rahal's are one of the biggest pricks I have met, they live here in New Albany also. His wife or former wife IIRC Debbie Rahal got a DWI not too long by the cops here So we will never shed a tear for there fuck ups! |
