Anyone have any experience / opinions?

I am debating a number of different ones atm, and this one seems to be my first choice.

Anyone?

Great rig for the money, have ran it in two carbine courses

ETA: I usually run it full, 8 mags, 4 Glock .45 mags, I have not put anything on the side pouches although I am thinking about adding something on both sides.

The SKD is really nice for the money, but I haven't tried others, so I am kind of biased.

I like the individal pockets.  I keep my glock 21 in one of them and mags in the others.  I plan to add a first aid kit to one of the molle expander areas.

I use it to go hunting and stuff and it is really handy and doesn't get overly warm.

I've got one and it's pretty good if you are into chest rigs.

Personally I'm not a fan of chest rigs. I much prefer belt based rigs to carry my stuff. That being said I've used the Eagle/SKD rig successfully for some AK classes and it does alright in that role.

I would daresay it's the best rig out there for 90% of non-Mil folks.

Training and gear needs to be both realistic and practical.

Awesome rig bro!! For the money, you can't beat the ruggedness and durability, and SKD is a great far as rapid shipment. Can't beat them!!

very pleased with mine.  theoretically i would like more positive retention of the mags, but didn't have any problem while working through some serious up-and-down in the mountains last summer.

all in all, a very nice KISS rig.  the only practical issue i have with it is the padded shoulder straps, which interfere with the shoulder weld.  would definitely prefer unpadded straps.

I like mine for the occasional class or practice session, and it works for just about any weapon system.  The only thing I added was a pouch on the support side for my rifle suppressor.

If you really need more modularity or capacity, you're going to pay quite a bit more to get there.
