I belong to a ouple of groups that open carry in Virginia to desensitize folks to seeing guns.

Part of this is in response to a State Senator (Dick Saslaw) who referred to us as the "cast of Deliverance" when we were at the state capital on Lobby day.

He later went on to say that anyone carrying in a restaurant in his district would by kicked out be the owner.

One of our guys got a reporter to accompany us, this is a link to the article, the poll is on the left-hand side. Great pro-gun article, she went around and asked folks if they cared about us having guns, 10 were fine with it, 1 said "it's a family restaurant."
