I am by no means overweight, but my mom is done with the program so she gave me a whole months supply of the stuff. Does anyone have a sample plan for MEN that came with their supply? I can't seem to find one.

I am going to be the lab rat here and try this stuff out for you guys!

I am 5' 11", and weigh around 180 lbs. So someone give me a plan and lets see if I lose any weight!  I'll post pics!

ETA: Changed title

ETA: Fixed, I meant 180#

Been on it less than one week, lost 4 pounds. I am only consuming 1300 Kcal a day.

Not feeling hungry though.

Don't do it, you'll just lose weight by starving away your muscles.

Then when you stop eating a starvation diet, your metabolism will be way down (because you burnt off so much muscle) and it'll be easy to put weight back on. That weight will be fat not muscle.

So in the end you'll just go down and back up in weight and have replaced a bunch of muscle with a bunch of fat.

I am drinking protein shakes and taking L-glutamine supps to minimize muscle loss. Also I am not completely on a starvation diet, once every two days I have a large meal full of carbs, sugar, and fat.

Another pound lost.  Down to 176.5

Still losing a little strength and muscle mass, but that's expected. Going to start a bulking cycle at summers end. So no biggie.

I have all the stuff that came with my 28 day supply for MEN.  It doesn't say a whole lot.  Some basic "get off your ass and do something that will burn calories" stuff.

If you, for some reason, want it then PM me.

This doesn't seem like the greatest idea.

I've done bulking/cutting cycles for over 2 years now... Bulk in winter/cut for summer.

I am just using nutri system as a headache free way of monitoring how many calories/ protein I take in daily. But thanks for your concern.

No, but thanks though! I pretty much figured it out, the meals are marked "breakfast, lunch, and dinnertime". So it's pretty easy, and I allow myself 2 snacks a day - which is usually a protein shake.

BTW, it says you also need to add your own fruits and vegetables each day.

first update

next update

Another pound lost. Down to 176.5

Now I may be wrong here but it seems to me that it is not working because you are gaining weight not losing weight.

New update:

Down to 172 pounds. Lost 1/4 in. of muscle mass on my arms (maybe fat? I dunno). Still going strong though. All the nutrisystem is gone now it's just a high protein low carb diet.

My measurements now:

30 in. waist

36 in. Chest

16 3/4 in. arms

1300 calories doesn't seem like you're "starving" yourself at your weight and height. I could be wrong, though. It seems like a reasonable deficit (perhaps pushing it a bit, I suppose). Are you really active?

Why the concern for muscle loss? Would this be a problem at 1800 calories? Hmmm. Is it the fat/protein/carb percentages?

I always heard that stuff tasted like cardboard, and was really salty.

1300 is pretty low unless he is sitting on the couch all day.  Nothing horrible but if you stay on that diet plan for to long your metabolism is going to take a dump.

getting ready for summer, I've been on a dirty bulk for almost 6 months and gained nearly thirty pounds of muscle mass, and now I am cutting the fat off. It's a typical bulk then cut routine.

I'm the size of a fat woman? I have never met a woman with 17 in. arms and a size 30 waist. You mad because I look good?
