A few months ago i got really dizzy one morning.  I woke up to the room spinning, and feeling extremely light headed.  At first i though it was low blood sugar level, but when i get up and start moving around im fine.  When I lay down though, and my head becomes level with the rest of my body, I get really dizzy.  It is even worse if i turn my head to the right side while laying down.  This isnt a constent thing as it comes in goes is spans lasting for weeks.  It will last for a few weeks then go away.  Now its coming back.  Its really a pain the ass, when working, as i sometimes have to turn my head in akward ways, or when i have to work on a car.

So wtf is wrong with me?

Don't screw around with Internet advice on this - go see a doctor.

I have been to the docs once, but they didnt help much, though it wasnt a very thorough.  Ill admit i did slack and not make another appointment, but then it went away.  So i wasnt to concerned about it.  I kinda thought that it was possibly my old job was causing the problem because I was taking dramamine twice a week, but maybe it isnt.

Well, of course you have to go to a doctor. Dizziness is more often than not related to the inner/middle ear in one way or another. Infection, virus, etc.

However, considering your dizziness comes and goes based on head movements it is possible that it is BPPV, Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo. I believe there are movements and exercises that a doctor or an Ear Nose and Throat doctor would have you do to cure it, if it is indeed BPPV.

I myself have suffered from dizziness for an extended period. A few years ago I was dizzy for several hours every night for several months. I went for dozens of tests, took many different drugs, and never got a diagnosis. Luckily, I did my own research and found others with diagnosed diseases and followed some of their natural treatments. After months of doctors being next to useless, I was fine within weeks of taking a certain supplement regimen.

So go to the doctor, get treated. But if it continues and doctors don't help, shoot me a PM. Too much to write if you don't need it, which you likely won't.
