For having my music to loud "after hours."

I pull up to the stop light with my music volume at 6 and my window half way down listening to Raining Blood by Slayer. Light turns green and before I could take off I get a bright light shined directly between my rear-view window, I pull over to the side and he pulls in behind me, he sits in his car for about 10 min when another unit pulls in behind him, two officers then approach my car from both sides.

He comes over and says "you need to turn that music down, that is just ridiculous"

Me: No Problem sir
Him: Its ok during the day but illegal "after hours"
Me: Thanks
Him: Have a good night.

My roomate got a $400 ticket for his music the other day. The cop was behind him at a red light when he was jamming out.

In my opinion you have to be stupid to get pulled over for this because common sense should tell you if a cop is right beside you turn down your f'in music.

THIS THREAD IS A CROCK OF SHIT.

UTTER LIES.

You don't mention anywhere that they shot your dog, tazed you, falsified your field sobriety test, threw you on the ground, sprained your wrist, or even wrote you a goddamned ticket.

EVERYONE knows that polite cops don't exist and that showing respect just makes the nightstick cornholing that much more likely.

Pics, or it didn't happen. And don't give us any of that 'the cops told me not to take pics' crap, because we all know you didn't really get pulled over!

I got pulled over in Luziana when I was 18 by a bike cop for loud music...

I had one of them lowrider Chevy S-10's with spoke rims and hydrualics, and was following a small compact car (a Yugo or something)... I had just left my buddy's house where I had just removed all of my speakers and stereo so I could install some new stuff I had at my house....

Evidently the guy in front of me had some bump bump speakers in his ride and the bicycle cop heard it and pulled in front of me throwing up his hand for me to stop!

At first I thought it was some dumbass on a bike trying to mess with me so I swerved and almost continued on when I realized it was the Popo...

So I pulled over and got an ass chewin' for swerving and loud music.... The look on his face was pretty memorable when he looked in my truck and saw a bunch of bare wires hanging out all over the place.

I was very respectful and explained to him that it was probably the guy in front of me... He let me go, but not before lecturing me on trying to swerve around an Officer Of The Law trying to make a traffic stop....

6 what?

6 on the Richter scale?
6 buildings being demolished and falling?
6 mothers-in-law bitching about your problems?

6 out of 10?  What's 10?  At what number does blood run from your ears and eyesockets?  At what number does it run from a normal person's?

Inquiring minds want to know.

I'm not asking literally.  I'm asking if the relatively "low" volume you had it set at for your stereo would otherwise be considered "high" in my bone stock Bose car stereo.

We had some asshat behind us with his sub bass cranked so f'in loud, we had to talk REAL LOUD in our car and our windows were up. If it is too loud to the point where you cannot hear emergency vehicles coming, then something is wrong.

"Freedom" doesn't have shit to do with being an annoying asshole to people who are minding their own business in their own homes. If I parked my ass in front of your home in a flatbed truck loaded with thousands of watts of P.A. equipment and started playing whale sounds through it, I guess I would be exercising my "freedom," eh?

Bullshit.

There's very little civility left in society anymore and it's getting worse. It's just "fuck the other guy, I'll do what I want when I want."
