Listed a 1997 Nissan pickup king cab yesterday on craigslist. Had it for $2400 or best offer. Received 2 email inquiries and 5 phone calls. The first person that looked at it this afternoon offered $2000 cash. Needless to say, I'm truckless. I must be crazy, since now I'm looking at a Dodge 1500 Quad Cab with a Hemi.

Get something that gets almost 20mpg....I did an 07 Tacoma.

I have a 1995 Honda Civic with 152K as my daily driver. Hopefully in the next month, I'll be with a new dept right at home and will have a take home patrol car. The truck would just be used as a recreation/weekend vehicle. I don't see putting more than 3K miles on it per year.

Get something that gets almost 20mpg....I did an 07 Tacoma.

My 1997 Nissan Pickup got 23mpg. I want something bigger.

It was just a 2wd. 157K on the odometer. Mechanically sound, could use another paint job, especially on the hood and roof. She wasn't the prettiest truck, but she would put out.
