Just called Surefire and told them about my tailcap on my G2 malfunctioning. Only questions they had were, what color and where do they send a new one. It sure is nice to find a company that stands behind their product.

I own one, but I've never needed customer service

and, yeah they do have an excellent reputation.

I didnt buy into the hype of SureFire ( I mean, how can you?  They're expensive!) until I got my hands on them in the Army.  

Crikey, those are some EXCELLENT products!

I've been strictly SureFire ever since and have 3 pistol lights and 2 of the bigger weaponlights (I suck at nomenclature so I dont remember their model numbers ) and I've been nothing but VERY impressed with their quality and performance.

They're hard to justify (with respect to price, at least) until you get your hands on one and then you go "Oh." and buy lots more.
