[ARCHIVED THREAD] - AK Underfolder

I am going to buy an AK underfolder. And it just so happens I am "lucky" enough to live in a state where the weapon must be 26inches or longer when folded in order for it to be legal. Anyone have some real good suggestions on a good muzzle break so i can get it into the 26 inch ball park?

You might consider an AK-74 style brake or a Bulgy flash suppressor.

AIM Surplus has some flash hiders that might help. I like the AK-100 series style, myself.

ETA: Cheaper Than Dirt has some NICE AK-74 style muzzle breaks. They fit 7.62x39, 5.45x39, and 5.56x45/.223 caliber AK's. Get the screw-on variety, not the pin-on.
