Found another neat little guy, haven't seen one like it before.



It's about the size of a quarter, bumpy, and black. I thought maybe it was pregnant or something? It's a bad picture, but the thing wouldn't stay still.

Check the underside.  It might be a brown widow.  Kinda hard to tell from the picture

The underside seems to be black and shiny, no distinguishing marks that I can tell. I caught it in a glass to make sure I can ID it before letting it go free (don't want something awful let free outside my house!)

There are different species, I'm not sure which one this is but it's just an orb spider.  Nothing really special about him.

if you could tell us where exactly you found it (region, location within that regio etc..) we can narrow it down.

but i'd have to guess its an arachnid
