The wind just changed here a couple an hour or so ago and really started to blow as a high pressure front came through. I went outside for a smoke about 10 minutes ago and noticed a heavy haze in the air. After a quick walk down the street I realized that visibility is now limited to about 3/4 of a mile due to the thick dust in the air. Now I have shut all the windows in my house but can smell the dust as it blows through. We have a very fine sand out here that you just can't seem to get away from. It covers everything and unless you have a new and well sealed house it just seems to blow right in. |
